RENTON,WA. 9/2/2010: We just shipped splat.tv to Yahoo! for release on their connected TV platform. It came back from their test team with zero bugs. Count that! Zero bugs. That’s a first. The widget will soon be available on a Samsung, Sony, LG or Vizio TV in your living room. For now, check out the beta version of the splat.tv web site and let us know what you think.

What is splat.tv?

Our correspondents watch the most popular TV shows on the air and log what we call “connections” before a show rolls its credits -- the songs, places and products featured in the episode. Watching a scene where a Lady Gaga hit is playing in the background at a coffee shop and the characters are wearing the latest fashions from Paris? We log and present those connections so you can download the song, learn more about the place, or buy the featured products.
